Fremont Politicians Totally Immune to the Siren Song of Hooters

The best thing about this article in the Oakland Tribune about a new Hooters restaurant opening up in Fremont is how many Fremont city officials apparently felt compelled to state for the record that although Hooters is a fine establishment that will no doubt employ many local people, attract other businesses to the downtown, and is certainly not as tawdry as, say, a strip club, they, personally have never been inside of one. Repeat: Fremont's mayor and certain city councilmembers have never been inside a Hooters. But they hear the food's not so good.
