Frailty Myths Annual Gala

When: Thu., Dec. 6, 7-11 p.m. 2018
Phone: 562-556-6771
Price: $55
Since 2016, Frailty Myths, a nonprofit organization founded and operating in Oakland, has worked to reimagine femininity and empower women, trans, and gender nonconforming people in marginalized communities. Through free hands-on workshops, Frailty Myths helps folks learn and build skills in traditionally male-dominated activities, creating uplifting spaces where people are free to try and learn new things. You can help them continue their patriarchy-smashing good work at Thursday’s Impact with Love gala, the second annual Frailty Myths benefit. Evening treats include an open bar, small bites, live music, raffle prizes, and a live building project. Come see what they’ve been up to this year and raise a glass to all of the people who make an organization like this possible. Funds raised from ticket sales go directly back to the organization’s work. Party attire is required.
