There's so damn much to do on First Fridays these days that finding the good stuff can feel like an incredibly daunting task. But never fear: We've got your back.

The Shotgun Wedding Quintet + DRMS
Jazz Mafia side project The Shotgun Wedding Quintet will be joined by jazz-influenced pop band DRMS at Awaken Cafe. 7 p.m., free.

Street Eaters
Mission Creek and The Uptown co-present a night of noisy, playful indie rock with Street Eaters, Field Trips, Ghost and the City, and Little Sister at The Uptown. 9 p.m., free.

Brass Menazeri
Eastern European folk outfit Brass Menazeri will play its final show after twelve years as a band at The New Parish. 9 p.m., $10, $15.

Brown Sugar
New venue Shadow Ultra Lounge provides a new home to party Brown Sugar, returning after a two year hiatus with resident DJs Jam The Man, THE C.M.E, and Sake One. 10 p.m., free.
