The FBI today raided Community Property Management, a private real estate company in Oakland, two sources said. FBI spokeswoman Julie Sohn would not confirm today’s raid, but said the agency was executing search warrants and conducting interviews throughout the Bay Area as part of a long-term investigation into trustee sales of foreclosed homes.

FBI agents, Sohn said, were searching for evidence of illegal anti-competitive practices in trustee sales of foreclosed homes. The FBI is asking anyone with any information to call its 24-hour line, 415-553-7400, or the agency’s anti-trust division at 415-436-6660.
