Re: “Study Says Granting Amnesty to Illegal Immigrants Would Boost Economy

Based on my experience, I have seen hard working illegal immigrants. Who are the workers that work for the construction? Aren't they Mexicans? What about those who work in a Chinese, Japanese, and other asian restaurants? Are they not Filipino, Mexicans, Nepalese, Vietnamese and other illegal immigrants who came from different countries? Why do employers hire illegal immigrants even though they know that it is not right and unfair for other U.S. Citizens? It's because most of these illegal immigrants are willing to work hard that even dirty jobs they will accept it. When they work, they give their best and when they're done with their task, they help others if they can. I have seen other U.S. Citizens who work under the table and have many babies and eligible to work but they choose not to so that they would not declare taxes and their food stamp and Medicare may not be taken away and at the same time they have nice brand new cars or houses. The question is, is that acceptable to the other U.S. Citizens? Will you allow other American citizens to keep receiving money even though they did not earn it and see them shopping or sitting in the couch doing nothing? I therefore conclude, if many U.S. Citizens do not wish for amnesty to be approved, at least have an open heart and mind for those illegal immigrants who did not commit crime but only came here to work for their family and also due to economic downturn of their own country that they have to take the risk and come to America. Don't you think these hard working illegal immigrants deserve to have a working visa and at the same time they can contribute to the social security and they get to be taxed out? They can be the fill-in for those U.S citizens who do not wish to declare taxes so they can keep many of the benefits that are meant for the low income people.
