Even Birds Hate Chevron

As anti-war activists plan some kind of direct action at Chevron's San Ramon headquarters to mark the fifth anniversary of the Iraq war, it seems they're getting help from the rest of the animal kingdom. Last night, a crow flew into a power substation at Chevron's El Segundo refinery, knocking out power for an undetermined period of time. According to Reuters, the refinery supplies forty percent of the jet fuel used at the Los Angeles international airport. Now, that's direct action!
