Blacks and hispanics did not vote in favor of discrimination.

In all the exit polling I read, blacks and Hispanics voted pretty much like their white counterparts, ie it was generational. Especially within the Hispanic community.

Young blacks and Hispanics voted against Prop 8, older blacks and Hispanics voted for it. Same as white folks. The percentage amongst Hispanics and whites is pretty similar.

Also, newer voters drawn into the process were much more likely to have voted down Prop 8.

Wait until 2012. It will be better to have more turnout plus more of the older voters will be gone.
