Officers from several agencies — including the DEA, the IRS, and the California Department of Justice — raided Emerville's Oaks Card Club early this morning, according to KTVU and the Chron. Though KTVU couldn't get much out of an IRS spokesperson — and the club, perhaps unsurprisingly, doesn't appear to be answering its phone right now — the raid, which reportedly involved dozens of gun-toting officers, is said to be part of a regional crackdown on organized crime that claimed another club in San Bruno, also this morning. Warrants will supposedly be unsealed tomorrow; we'll keep you posted.
