Re: “Vote With Us! The East Bay Express' Endorsements for Election Day 2016

Hmmm . . . in the description of this article, you claim to give your endorsements for many communities, including Richmond. Yet not one Richmond issue is represented; in fact, the entire Contra Costa County has been completely ignored. East Bay Express? Maybe you should change the name to East Bay Elitists, because that is how you behave.

Re: “Most Reasonable Veterinary Services

I can't believe I've never posted here about Brent before. I don't even know what to say. He's nice, he's knowledgeable, his prices are reasonable, my pets love him, I love him. He's not just our vet. He's a wonderful friend. I really love this man. He's been our vet for over 30 years, and I've never once thought of going elsewhere. He has a six week waiting period for new clients, but once you're in, you're in - and can get him within a couple of days. Did I say yet that I love this man?

Re: “Victim Reaches Out to Troubled Man Who Shot Her at Local Park

What a wonderful ending to what could have been a tragedy. It seems everyone is always looking for justice, for revenge. I'm grateful that there are still people who think that every life is worth trying to save. Mr. Geluardi, thank you for an excellently written article, and Ms. Pansarasa, thank you for being an angel for a young man who definitely needs one.

Re: “Richmond Rethinks Hasty Decision About Troubled Housing Complex

Thanks for putting the time into researching this and letting us know the real story of what is going on. I only wish the CIR had been more interested in honesty than in stirring things up.

Re: “Trial of Gay Police Chief Accused of Discrimination Begins

As nearly every resident of Richmond knows, crime has been on a downward trend ever since Chief Magnus came to Richmond. I now know the officers who patrol the streets in my neighborhood because they stop their car, get out, and talk to us. They come to neighborhood meetings and give us tips on what we can do to be safer. We not only have the main phone number for the department, but also the numbers of every officer who is on our "beat." From what I've seen, officer morale seems higher - I see fewer scowls and more smiles. I've gotten to know our Chief a little bit, and from I've seen, there is no drop of racism in this man. I am sorry the city has to pay so much money to fight such trumped up charges.
