Originally called Los Jarritos (until the Mexican soft-drink giant threatened to sue), Guillermo Dominguez’ skinny little storefront is a tribute to Oaxaca. Tortas -- Mexican sandwiches -- are some of the best around. The Toluca sparks an epiphany, glistening with nutty-tasting pork fat, and the Super Special #2 is the carnitas equivalent of a Sloppy Joe. Swallow your skepticism and order the taco salad, a warm pile of moist picadillo (spiced ground beef) that makes even shredded iceberg lettuce taste good.
