Egyptian, Israeli & Palestinian musicians with the Symphony

Oakland East Bay Symphony and Music Director Michael Morgan will present Notes from the Middle East, a rich & varied evening of music by Egyptian, Israeli & Palestinian artists meant to inspire understanding and dialogue. Guest conductor Daniel Alfred Wachs will lead works by Nader Abbassi (The Nile Bride) and Avner Dorman (Astrolatry). Michael Morgan will conduct the World Premiere of John Bisharat’s Ya Way Li & Grieg’s Piano Concerto with pianist Eliran Avni.

Pre-concert talk by John Kendall Bailey & composer John Bisharat at 7pm.
