Dracul: Prince of Fire

Wed., Jan. 7 and Sat., Jan. 17 2009

January 7-10 and 14-17
The Crucible, 1260 7th St., Oakland

The Crucible presents Dracul: Prince of Fire. This dark tale of passion, blood, and undying love is a prequel to every vampire legend ever told. Starring ballerina Tina Bohnstedt and aerialist Brett Womack, Dracul is one of the most unusual and collaborative pieces ever presented by The Crucible. The monstrous 10-ton set creates a scene unlike any theatrical experience, and Phillip Feeney's dynamic score gets a Crucible treatment that accentuates the chilling story.
