Re: “Dan Savage: How Can Sex Worker Clients Fight to Legalize Sex Work?

In response to Amy Luna Manderino: I would ask her to cite a single peer-led sex worker organization that supports the so-called "Nordic model".

The Global Network of Sex Worker Projects -- the international alliance of such peer-led sex worker groups -- has consistently condemned Sweden's "sex purchase" law and its clones in other countries, with research showing how it has led to increased harms to sex workers and others.

Meanwhile, a group of us have heeded the call started by Maggie McNeill and echoed here by Dan Savage, and begun CoSWAC - Clients of Sex Workers Allied for Change. We invite everyone to check out our site:

A timely contribution. Indeed, since Maggie McNeill posted her call for clients to organize, a handful of us have been beginning plans towards that end - with Maggie and other sex workers as advisers.
