Re: “Oakland-Alameda Authority Confirms Unreleased Renderings of Possible Raiders Stadium at Coliseum Site

First - realize this is a rendering of what a stadium COULD look like, not actual plans or paid-for development

Second - the price here or there doesn't amount to a hill of beans. No one needs to outspend anyone. It all comes down to;

Third - Vegas is voting on $550-$690 million THAT DOES NOT HAVE TO BE REPAID BY THE RAIDERS. More income stays in Davis' pocket - most state 65% of all revenue generated goes to the Raiders.

Fourth - the best plan put forward by Oakland so far is to FINANCE 100% OF THE COST AND THE RAIDERS AND STADIUM REVENUE CAN PAY IT BACK. Less money going into Davis' pocket. The ONE thing no one has heard is what % of revenue the Raiders get to keep. And guess what - the NFL shares revenue. You not only have to convince Davis, you have to convince the NFL. The league will not let them play there for next to nothing. It doesn't matter if Oakland would produce more revenue than Vegas, if the league doesn't get much of it.

So far, there is hope on a plan that works well for Oakland...but no one else.
