Dan Plonsey and Daniel Popsicle

When: Sun., May 30, 7 p.m. 2010
Price: $10

Now in its final week, Bonnie Hughes peripatetic Berkeley Arts Festival presents Dan Plonsey and Daniel Popsicle. Plonsey, a math teacher at Berkeley by day, creates imaginary worlds that operate more slowly and simply than ours does. Imagine that! He will play a set of Color Music, inviting you to bring your art-making materials. His other set will include selections from his opera, Leave Me Alone! (written with Harvey Pekar) and the forthcoming masterwork, Dan Plonsey's Bar Mitzvah. At the futureMagnusMuseum (2121 Allston Way, Berkeley) on Sunday, May 30. 7 p.m., $10 suggested donation.
