Culture Abuse One Day Only Staff Pick

When: Wed., Nov. 22, 8 p.m. 2017
Price: $25

Culture Abuse at The UC Theatre

Bay Area band Culture Abuse plays a catchy, upbeat sound reminiscent of early punk. With only one full-length album and two EPs under its belt, the band signed to Epitaph Records and has been busy playing shows around the country, hitting stages at renowned festivals such as Riot Fest Chicago and The Growlers Six in San Pedro, Calif. It’s been more than a year since Culture Abuse graced the stage in the Bay Area, but the band will be back in the area for an upcoming show with labelmate Joyce Manor and Wavves, who Culture Abuse recently collaborated with for “Up and Down,” a feel-good song with a classic rock ’n’ roll vibe.
