Collective Art Show

When: July 7-31 2012

Zero Friends Gallery (489A 25th St., Oakland) is throwing a group show and serendipitously calling it Collective Art Show. This is the kind of face-melting exhibition that young, obnoxious, know-it-all hipsters dream about, and since we're all one of those deep down, this is a show for you. Be warned, though, if you're frightened by images of cosmic horror, violent fantasy, and general awesomeness, then you should probably avoid it. Otherwise, come and be young and insane with a posse of the weirdest and most talented desperados the East Bay has ever produced -- including Oakland's Brett Amory, Concord's Marcos Lafarga, and Walnut Creek's Dave Correia -- plus more than twenty other geniuses. Opening reception on Saturday, July 7. 7-10 p.m. Show runs through July 31. 510-735-9405 or
