Re: “The Chamber's Candidate Has Quite a History in Business

Mr. Gammon I am disappointed in your deliberate slander of Mr. Clinton Killian. I believe you should have tried harder in trying to get in touch with him and getting his response to the allegations you're making before you released the story. How come the other candidates in the @ Large races were spared and only Mr Killian was the only singled out by the wrath of Gammon? Furthermore, how come you did not cover other City Council candidates such as Mario Juarez who have very questionable and is under investigation for criminal activities?
For example

Now I can tolerate if business may have been bad in the past for Killians' largest minority owned law firm. Its easy for a reporter to criticize someone who had a rough time running his business, but I am sure if you were running the East Bay Express, it would be bankrupt because of your unethical biased methods that are a sham to principled journalism. His experience as a AC Transit Board member and Oakland Planning Commissioner makes him an outstanding candidate for the City of Oakland. The fact that Mr. Killian understands that economic growth will provide jobs for our youth, while the politics you support only contain them in projects in West/East Oakland. Mr. Killian wants our youth to change the world! Please Mr. Gammon for the sake of journalism, be fair! You should have waited and investigated all the @ large candidates.
