Classic Cars Bazaar

When: Third Friday of every month, 6-10 p.m. Continues through Sept. 20
Price: $10
Classic Cars West’s Gallery has been shaking up the Downtown Oakland arts scene all year. From introducing provocative and transgressive visual artists, to hosting drag festivals and burlesque shows, the often over-looked venue has been providing a spotlight on outliers of the community signaling an inclusion of modes of expression traditionally ignored by the mainstream. With Classic Cars Bazaar, it has put together an amalgamation of its vision in a live variety presentation. Head Chef Adina Butler will be serving dinner from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. with vendors and tarot readings, followed by burlesque performances from Sgt. Die Wies, Hunny Bunny, Bri Crabtree, and more. The night will end with the comedy of Mikey Walz, and DJ Kyan’s booty-movin’ rare grooves.
