Damn, the WestBay just runs away with it this week. Mighty's Big Bada Boom 2 sports fifteen DJs Saturday night, and Amoebapalooza is Sunday at Mezzanine, but that's only after clubbers survive Wednesday, July 29, at the Rickshaw Stop (155 Fell St., San Francisco). Erudite hip-hop magazine Wax Poetics combines forces with integral indie labels Ubiquity and Def Jux to present classy dance band Chin Chin. The New York trio has no fear of welding kicking trap-kit beats to bombastic P-Funk horns, and soothing lyrics for major sexy time. This from the club now infamous for monthly lesbian gathering Cockblock. Opening: the Yay Area's Nino Moschella and ArmenNalbandian. 8 p.m., $10.
