The Golden Bears are playing Davis tomorrow in Berkeley, and FIVE Bistro & Bar in the Shattuck Plaza Hotel is launching a new all-day happy-hour program that runs from 10 a.m. to closing time on every Cal Bears game day.

On game days, starting tomorrow, FIVE will screen the action on high-definition flat panel television screens posted throughout the restaurant. Executive chef Banks White and resident mixologist Ron Harmer have updated barFIVE’s $5 food and cocktail menu, which will be offered all day on game days. The menu's new items include pulled-pork sliders, plantain tostones, and roasted padrón peppers with queso fresco.

Game-goers dining at FIVE before or after any games get an extra 10% off their meal tabs when they show their tickets.

The season, and the "Cal Game Days" program, runs through November 27, when the Bears face the Washington Huskies.
