Bluth’s bag of kitschy tricks on Arrested Development, but the magicians of the Champions of Magic Live tour will successfully perform such sleights of hand at the Julia Morgan Theater (2640 College Ave., Berkeley) this weekend. Watch the five award-winning magicians — Jade, Jason Andrews, Mark Kornhauser, Dana Daniels, and Christopher Hart — saw themselves in half and make use of props like “disembodied” hands, balloons, and parrots, in their part-magic, part-comedy, family-friendly performances. Fight off the post-Christmas doldrums, suspend your disbelief, and prepare to be enchanted.
