Cellphone Close-Up Photography of Insects

Want to learn close-up (macro) photography but don't have a fancy camera? Come join Damon Tighe, a local macro photographer from California Center for Natural History, to learn how to use your cell phone's camera and some relatively inexpensive lenses to do amazing macro photography of insects. We’ll cover how to find subjects, how to get the sharpest image possible and some tips and tricks around lighting subjects. This is a hands on workshop with most time spent outside photographing the small organisms we can find. Macro lenses can be rented during the workshop or purchased for $10.
