Celebrate Food Day

When: Wed., Oct. 24, 5-8 p.m. 2012
Price: free
Sure, every day is Food Day, in a way. But make it official — and pay extra attention to what you eat — on Wednesday, Oct. 24, when Whole Foods Market celebrates National Food Day in its Wellness Club (230 Bay Place, Oakland). A cooking class with Chef Alex Bury promotes produce-forward entrées. The festivities also include a screening of Vegucated, a wise and funny full-length documentary about three urban carnivores who go vegan.
