Bushwick Book Club Oakland Presents: The Hidden Life of Trees Free Online

When: Sun., July 26, 6-7:15 p.m. 2020
Price: donation based
Come enjoy a Sunday evening online performance of original songs inspired by Peter Wohlleben's book, The Hidden Life of Trees. We will also have a prologue reading of Maya Angelou's poem, "When Great Trees Fall" to contextualize our event. BBC Oakland is a chapter of Bushwick Book Club - a decade old musical book club where select singer songwriters read the same book, each write a song inspired by the book, and then perform their songs for an audience of book lovers. Please feel free to read the book and poem ahead of time for added fun!
