Although best known for the movie version with Marilyn Monroe, William Inge's 1955 play Bus Stop remains a popular selection for community theaters: Danville's Role Players Ensemble will be doing it in January, and now the San Leandro Players are closing their 2007 season with the show, in which a mismatched group of people are snowed in together in a Kansas bus depot diner. Jackie Black directs the cast of eight. Bus Stop plays through November 18 at San Leandro Museum/Auditorium. or 510-895-2573.
