An exhibit in the Oakland History Room commemorates the enduring legacy in the East Bay of the presidency of Abraham Lincoln as he approaches his 200th birthday. Photographs and materials from the collection relative to the Transcontinental Railroad, the overland telegraph, the Civil War, the Lincoln Highway, named in his honor, will be included.
