Bobby Kim of The Hundreds Free Staff Pick One Day Only

When: Wed., April 3, 6:30 p.m. 2019

Bobby Kim of The Hundreds at UC Berkeley

In 2003, son of Korean immigrants Bobby Kim abandoned a burgeoning career as an attorney to found a streetwear clothing company — one of the first of its kind — with former law school classmate Ben Shenassafar. In four year’s time, their line The Hundreds, influenced by the hardcore music and skating culture they consumed as teenagers growing up in L.A. in the mid-90s, went from a two-man production to one of the hottest fashion companies in the world, attracting business and praise from the likes of Kanye West and Justin Bieber. Kim, who consistently impresses reporters with his authenticity and wisdom, will open up about his company’s success, creative risk taking, and supporting minorities in the fashion industry at this public discussion.
