Bloodbath Continues at Village Voice Media

It's been another day of bloodletting in the journalism world, with Gawker reporting more layoffs at Village Voice Media. Today, editor Ward Harkavy and columnist Harry Siegel both got the hatchet, adding two more casualties to the toll that began three weeks ago. It's still unlikely that these losses foreshadow doom for other alt-weeklies.
