Growing up in a dysfunctional household in Oakland, art student Pica starts photographing Black boys believing they are an "endangered species” soon to be extinct. At the same time, a serial killer is claiming victims in the neighborhood with some of them being the same young men she has photographed. Photo exhibit and discussion with two photographers after the screening: Shantré Pinkney and April Martin.
