"Black Like me in America" is being offered to the Bay Area communities for Black History Month 2015. This performance tells the story of a newly emancipated male who was enslaved in Talbert County Maryland for over 30 years. Mr. Bolling incorporates the use of the Negro Spirituals, poetry, and historical accounts with a 70-slide show presentation of the African-American experience as a backdrop to his performance.
