Comedy, Science fiction
Tedious fantasy about a semi-derelict man named Daisato whose job is to be transformed into a gigantic, childlike superhero in order to battle such kaiju as the Evil Stare Monster and the Strangling Monster — in cheesy CGI alternating with lackluster live action. The rest of the time Daisato (played by the director and co-writer, Hitoshi Matsumoto) is reviled by his neighbors for making such a mess of their town. We can sympathize with the neighbors (113 min.).
Director: Hitoshi Matsumoto
Producer: Akihiko Okamoto, Hisaya Shiraiwa, Isao Yoshino and Hiroshi Osaki
Cast: Hitoshi Matsumoto, Riki Takeuchi, Ua, Ryunosuke Kamiki and Itsuji Itao
