Best in Show – Stories From Beyond the Shelter

When: Fri., Oct. 18
Berkeley Humane is now accepting entries for the Best in Show - Stories From Beyond the Shelter essay contest. The third annual storytelling benefit and star-studded event, featuring celebrated author Isabel Allende and KQED’s Dr. Michael Krasny, will benefit shelter animals, with proceeds going to Berkeley Humane’s lifesaving programs. It will take place live on stage at Berkeley’s Freight & Salvage Theater on Friday, October 18. The event was a huge hit and sold out last year. To enter the Contest, storytellers should complete the entry form on Berkeley Humane’s website at no later than Friday, August 16.
