If you have a baby or toddler, then you know that there's nothing like a glimpse into your previously "adult" life to keep you sane. That and a great microbrew can do wonders for your parenting stamina and your mental health. Both of these can be had at Lanesplitter, a very cool pub in its own right and even cooler for parents who've discovered that babies are tolerated, sometimes even adored, within its walls. With its motorcyclist clientele, you might assume that the little ones wouldn't be so welcome, but a recent visit elicited more middle-aged cooing than any afternoon at the park. It also helps that the bartenders and waitstaff are superb, the pizza excellent, and the beer and wine selection vast. If your child has a meltdown, you can always down your brew and take your pie to go.
