Berkeley Peace and Justice Commission 30th Anniversary Event

When: Thu., Sept. 14, 6:30-9:30 p.m. 2017
Phone: 510-525-5497
Price: free
The Peace and Justice Commission celebrates 30 years of fighting for human rights as the guiding principle for local government. Local communities and cities are leading the resistance to the frightening turn to the right on the national level. Within our city government, the Commission advocates for those who are marginalized by society, promotes international peace with justice, and advises on socially-responsible investment of municipal funds. Please bring your thoughts to share with the growing network of social change agents to brainstorm on Berkeley's future as a pillar of human rights and social justice.
