Berkeley Opera celebrates 30 Years! Enter to Win

Sun., March 29, 7 p.m. 2009
Price: $18-$58

Berkeley Opera is pulling out all the stops for this weekend's 30th Anniversary Concert. Hosted by San Francisco Opera's ever-illuminating Kip Cranna, the gala affair is headlined by renowned soprano Ruth Ann Swenson and capped by a champagne reception. A host of fine singers, including SFO favorites Catherine Cook, John Minágro, and Philip Skinner headline a relatively affordable evening of artists. An extra $50 gets you the three-course pre-concert dinner at the Musical Offering around the corner. At First Congregational Church (2345 Channing Way, Berkeley) on Sunday, Mar. 29. 7 p.m., $18-$58.
