Celebrating the banishment of plastic bags from all Berkeley Farmers' Markets, the downtown market (Center St. at Martin Luther King Jr. Way) marks Earth Day on Saturday, Apr. 25, with a make-your-own-produce-bag-with-scraps workshop. Vegetarian food booths share adjacent CivicCenterPark with live performances, a climbing wall, and more. 10 a.m.-3 p.m., free. EcologyCenter.org
