Wed, Apr 30, 2008 at 11:55 AM

Seeking the public's help in apprehending a serial thief, the Berkeley Police Department is distributing photos taken of the suspect by surveillance cameras.

Posted at ATMs in Berkeley, Oakland, and San Leandro, these cameras took footage of the mystery man, who drives a 1999-2004-model gold Acura RL. According to a BPD alert, the suspect "has stolen credit cards and used them to commit fraud by withdrawing cash. He also buys merchandise and to date has racked up nearly $20,000" in ill-gotten gains. Recognize him?—Anneli Rufus
