It's Beef Week at Wente Vineyards (5050 Arroyo Rd., Livermore), where from Wednesday through Sunday, January 30-February 3, Executive Chef Matt Greco offers a special menu starring dry-aged meat from the vineyard's own herd of Hereford/Black Angus cattle, whose diet is supplemented with Wente wines. The menu includes bierwurst, shank rillette, sausage with coffee-molasses barbecue sauce, clams in beef-chorizo broth with bone-marrow butter, and more. 6-9 p.m., $75. 925-456-2300 or WenteVineyards.com
