Become a Supporter of the Food Empowerment Directive!

Mon., April 16 2012
CoFED (the Cooperative Food Empowerment Directive) is a training program and network that equips college students to create sustainable, cooperative food enterprises on college campuses. Launched less than two years ago with support from authors Michael Pollan and Bill McKibben, CoFED has already trained over 250 students on 37 campuses. This includes six campus teams that received funding and one that successfully launched a cafe in New Mexico.

For the United Nation's 2012 Year of the Cooperative, funders in our Founders' Circle have challenged us $125,000 to show that we have grassroots support for our work by finding 212 donors giving small monthly contributions of $12 or more a month by April 16th.

Help us continue to do our work in your community next year and across the nation by visiting: www.cofed.org/donate.
