When Echo Brown was 6 years old, she was sexually abused. For 27 years, Echo remembered very few details about the traumatic event, but it was the main catalyst for her severe depression. Echo tried everything to battle her depression including: yoga, meditation and Tantra, but it was only after doing a breakthrough EMDR session in Paris, that Echo finally remembered everything that happened to her. A moving talk and workshop about one woman’s struggle with crippling depression. (Echo Brown is best known for her critically acclaimed one woman show, Black Virgins Are Not for Hipsters).
