This order-at-the-counter izakaya located inside of Swan's Market has improved on almost everything we loved about the original B-Dama. The setting is even more low-key and accessible. The prices are just as affordable. And the food is more soulful and audacious than ever. Creative touches abound. In the end, however, what B-Dama does best is Japanese comfort food: mounds of impossibly tender beef tendon stew, big bowls of piping-hot udon soup, and generous platters of lightly battered chicken karaage.
