Re: “It’s Time to Close the American Indian Public Charter Schools

I've been only a student at AIPCS for only 3 whole summer school weeks, and I was NEVER abused or assulted to any extreme concerns, verbally OR physically. Although being a 6th grader was tough, and I didnt love AIPCS, I didnt feel like I was being abused or overworked. Reading this message was both insulting to my opinions and is driving many mature adults out of work. The teachers at AIPCS do not deserve to be punished over what one man had done. Being extremely careful to meet the students (in my case) expectations, the teachers had been taking care of the students quite well, and it feels like even manditory eliminations of teachers had been very difficult on some students. Many kids that never been to AIPCS always said AIPCS was a horrible school. Sadly many (including me at the time) believed such stories and spread them to many other students. This was a mistake and should've never happened. AIPCS's goal is to send their students to college, to accompany the students with knowlege.

This means a lot to me, although I am about to be a 6th grader, I am concered with this schools policys and many other things. It is harsh to watch this hurtful and galumphing decisions being made, forcing other Middle and High schools to accept more students than they can manage. The least we could hope is the board leaves the school open and forget about Ben Chavis's surreptitious decicions.

If you dont care about AIPCS, I'll have you know once more: I am a 5th grader going to 6th grade arguing in favor for AIPCS to be left open.
