Whether you've read James Joyce's Ulysses a dozen times or have never managed to get past Buck Mulligan's shaving kit, Bloomsday is still a fine lit'ry holiday, commemorating the day on which the entire book's events take place. Berkeley poet, essayist, and undertaker (!)Thomas Lynch and Oakland writer Michael Ichioka will read from chapter three over tea and Irish soda bread at Mrs. Dalloway's (2904 College Ave., Berkeley) on Thursday, June 16. 3 p.m., free. 510-704-8222 or
