Re: “Inside California's Historic Medical Marijuana Regulation Bill

SpeedWeed didn't come into fast money. We built our business over 5 years and have retained multiple law firms to maintain compliance. No lawyers were "bought" (though they don't come cheap), no paperwork was "fudged". There is no such thing. You're either legal or you're not. Unlike the off-the-books delivery services (most), we don't make a profit and never have. We are in this for the long haul.

We have begun working closely with the regulators trying to make the industry safe and navigable for everyone, including delivery services. I'm pleased to say that Sacramento is listening and not looking to shut down delivery. Finally a few political leaders have emerged who truly want to help. We need to support them. AB266 is flawed and they know it -- but they want input from industry leaders on how to improve it. That is a surprising and wonderful sign.

"420express" is most likely another delivery service competing with SpeedWeed. Rather than attack industry colleagues and make assumptions about us that aren't true, we should be working together to make the industry better for all. Let's all agree to be part of the solution, not the problem.

Re: “Inside California's Historic Medical Marijuana Regulation Bill

I own and operate the largest MJ delivery service in California. We are FULLY compliant. Of the 400 services in LA, my company is one of only a handful of fully legal services.

AB266 shuts us down -- intentionally. This bill was designed to line the pockets of the entrenched.

If this corrupt legislation passes, the only winner is the black market. It is the fruit of collusion between corrupt politicians, lawyers and dispensary owners. We (in the industry) know who all these people are. Pretty soon, I'm going to start naming names.
