The first amendment does not address public speech at all, in this particular context. The first amendment only was and is intended to limit the ability and right of GOVERNMENT to interfere in speech. The government can't stop you from talking about whatever you want to talk about. That's it. An restaurant owner CAN enforce behavior standards for employees.

Kronnenburger destroyed the most beautiful mural on Piedmont Ave., and now they have left a shell. Thanks, guys. Expensive food, marginal staff, and tiny burgers along with the loss of a community icon, the mural. Pfft.
