Re: “Koch Brothers Prove That Prop 32 Is Good for Corporations

I think this article jumps to the wrong conclusion. The point is, we need to get special interests out of Sacramento. Look at what they're doing to our state: and tell me we don't need to take action.

Re: “If You Liked Citizens United, You'll Love Prop 32

There tends to be a lot of exagerrations and misinformation spread when discussing propositions. I would suggest that people actually read it. Prop 32 would give Californians back their voices in a system currently run by special interests. It would stop both corporations--all corporations, no loopholes--and unions from making political donations. Rather than "prevent them from communicating with their own members on political issues," Prop 32 would make it illegal for unions to take money out of their members' paychecks to use for political purposes without their permission. No wonder they're fighting back so hard! Also, as for executives spending "unlimited" amounts of money? We have individual spending caps to prevent just that. Proposition 32 is fair, balanced, and will give voters a chance to have a say again.
