A test was conducted on monkeys some years ago that illustrated the link between Dioxin (the main ingredient used in pesticides) and Endometriosis and Fibroids. http://www.ejnet.org/rachel/rhwn364.htm

I can see the connection myself, having suffered from Endometriosis and making the connection within the toxins we eat - through pesticide sprayed plants and processed foods.

The only way to really aid this is to detoxify the body of those toxins frequently.
