John Seal, you are so right! Why isn't the medical portion of EMS controlled by the counties?
I remember when certain Bay Area fire departments had "complete control" of the scene and would block ambulance crews from hearing patients complaints. And people want to fuel those egos?! No thank you...counties need to step up and take it on.

The writer definitely reports with one group in mind.
