Next time you get someone to write about knitting, how about you get someone who knows what they're talking about? Flower arranging takes a few minutes, knitting, an ancient craft, takes considerably longer, even for the most simple garment. And as far as snideness about doom, gloom, macrame and control, the fact is that even in the most highly industrialized consumer-driven society the world has ever known (the US) there are lots and lots of things not in the stream of commerce, comfy chemo caps and practical preemie caps among them. So lighten up on the 'tude, OK?
